Italy Diary

Where do I start… this was a trip of a lifetime. My mother has always wanted to visit Italy her entire life so for her 60th and my 30th birthday I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate not only with my mother but sister and husband too.

We started in Tuscany, visited stunning vineyards (can you say Under the Tuscan Sun!?) sampling delicious wines and tasty foods with the more gorgeous views. I could have stayed there forever. We enjoyed larger and smaller vineyards and got a chance to talk to the families that owned the wineries. For my 30th birthday my husband surprised me with an air balloon ride at dawn over Tuscany.. I have no words for this, it was beyond beautiful and something I will remember for the rest of my life.

After a quick stop in Florence we headed to Rome. I had a chance to study in Rome while I was in college so it felt like going home to me. The hustle and bustle of city life mixed with such history give Rome a place like no other. I love walking everywhere, finding little restaurants and stores to stop in while visiting the “go-to” places, my favorite is Piazza Navona!

Our last stop was the Amalfi Coast, you can’t even believe you are still in Italy, you feel like you are transported on a island. The architecture of the building set into the mountainside is unreal. We staying at the Art Hotel in Positano (view were amazing!) and was the perfect spot to end our trip. Beachside and so relaxing! Our last night there we headed to Le Sirenuse (if you have the chance this is a must) the hotel is beyond stunning. Every room is the prettiest space I have ever seen (talk about #goals) with view that can’t be compared.

The trip was such a dream and I loved reliving it! Please let me know if you have any questions or if you are planning a trip. I would love to send over more recommendations! And on that note, where should I head next?

Banana Republic

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetWearing all Banana Republic: Striped Tee | Denim Jacket | Paper Bag Trouser |Frayed Top | Moto Jacket | BF Jeans | Wrap Heels | Tie Up Dress

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Banana Republic a few months ago and finally able to share the pictures from their Spring/Summer campaign #YourLiveStyled. It was such a dream come true, I was able to choose clothing from their newest collection to wear, got my hair and make-up done, and shot on the iconic NYC Highline with amazing street-style photographer John Hillin… what could be better! I tend to wear neutrals and that was no exception here. First look with the paper-bag trousers, striped tee, and denim jacket was one of my favorites. It was causal yet chic, put together, and timeless… exactly what I think of when I hear Banana Republic. Add this amazing graphic clutch and lace up heels and voilà, perfect outfit. My other looks include my favorites trends; lace-up dresses, frayed ends, and snake-skin (I mean that jacket right?!). Hope you love them as much as I do!

Got the Blues

Wearing: Forever 21 Blue Trench (similar)| Silk blouse (similar)| Parker Smith Jeans | Call It Spring Sandals

Got the blues… but in the best way! I’m in love with this light blue trench, it add a touch of color (which we all know my wardrobe needs!) without being to overpowering. I love how the blue polarized sunglasses compliment the trench and bring the how outfit together.

90’s Vibes

Wearing: Vera Moda Slip Dress | ASOS Booties | ASOS Choker

What goes out of style will always come back around… If you told me a few years ago that I would not only be wearing a slip dress and choker but LOVING IT I would have laughed. That was my go to look when I was in Junior High and never thought it would come back. I now have more chokers I can count and always on the look out for more slip dresses. They are minimalist chic and be be dress day to night. Let me know if you have any trends you are wearing from the past.

Denim Obsessed

Wearing: ASOS Denim Frayed Top | ASOS Denim Frayed Skirt | Topshop White Sneakers

It’s no secret I have an obsession with denim. I wear it almost everyday and you can wear it in so many ways! This denim set from ASOS had be at “hello”. It incorporated my love for denim with my second love frayed! The frayed denim gives the outfit more texture which I love yet keeping it casual and cool

My Tulum Diary

Recently I had the chance to visit Tulum Mexico, it has been on my bucket list for awhile now and it did not disappoint! The small town is so enhancing, untouched by big hotels or resorts, Tulum has a real authentic laid back vibe. We stayed at the Azuilk Hotel which is a boutique one-of-a-kind “off-the grid” Eco-resort (no electricity) and the most amazing place I have ever stayed. The whole hotel is one big tree house with pathways above the trees and rooms with stunning ocean views. With maybe the cutest restaurants and beautiful beaches Tulum might be the most magical place and I can’t wait to plan my next trip back.

Comfy Cozy

Wearing: SheInside Ribbed Pullover | Flared Jeans Similar | H&M Wool Fedora

I can’t believe that it’s finally getting to be warm weather out and feeling like Spring. Just last it was still cold and had to layer up. I love this SheInside ribbed pullover because it’s SO comfortable and cozy yet structured enough to keep fashionable and chic! The fabric is nice and light so it can be layered in the colder months and paired with denim shorts in the warmer months

Veronica Beard

Wearing: Veronica Beard Jacket and Pants

I have been so lucky to be able to attend Veronica Beard’s fashion week presentations two seasons in a row and it was truly was love at first sight. The collections are always so on trend yet wearable and chic. So to say I’m obsessed with this outfit is an understatement as I’m in head-t0-toe Veronica Beard!

Double the Knit

Wearing: S.I.L.K. Sweater | S.I.L.K. Sweater Fringe Vest | Parker Smith High Waist Jeans | Dolce Vita Booties

It’s no secret that I love sweaters, I live in them all Fall/Winter long. Sometimes they can get a little boring and mundane…then this S.I.L.K. sweater set came into my life! It incorporates so many top trends into one look yet it’s still a clean and tonal look. Everything from a cropped top/sweater, turtleneck, long vest, and fringe all mixed into one. Keeping it one shade allows it all to blend for a simple yet chic look and totally ups my sweater game!
