I love this time of the year where the cherry blossoms in NYC finally bloom and then fall like snow. It had be inspired for pastels and this Marc by Marc Jacobs blouse fits the bill, three times! I love the mix of this blouse with the light and airiness of the colors and silk blouse but also graphic in design. I wanted the blouse to stand out on its own so I paired it with faux leather short (go to staple in the spring/summer for me) and my strap low heel sandals. This is when NYC comes back to life after a LONG winter..
I normally stick to my minimalist, all neutral outfits and throw a red lip on as my “color” so I wanted to spice things up a bit. I adore this striped pencil skirt from Mango and paired it with a fun yellow tank with a palm tree-ques print. I love the yellow pop, it makes me so happy! The black & white skirt acts as a neutral so you could really pair it with almost anything and even better the stripes going different ways makes the skirt really slimming. One thing is for sure, this outfit has me ready for summer..
Haven really is the word to described this place. These super cute fishhouses are right on the ocean and weathered throughout the years for the perfect New England look. I mean come on, so quint and gorgeous right?! As for my fashion, surprise surprise I’m wearing black and white. My favorite colors! I paired this damask formal print shorts with a sweatshirt textured pullover and block heeled sandals for a more casual look. These Seychelles sandals are seriously my favorite, they are so comfortable and the block heel makes it easy to walk in all day. They are my go-to footwear thus far this season.
The past two weeks have been so nice and relaxing home in New Hampshire. Sometimes forget how gorgeous where I grew up really is. I’m so lucky to have been close to beach and surrounded with such New England charm. It really is like a Nicholas Sparks book! Here are some pictures from our adventures. So sad to leave..
Wearing: H&M Maxi Dress | Tahari Sunglasses
This weekend we headed north to New Hampshire for a little vacation on the ocean. It’s been such a cold and long winter this sure felt great! The beaches there are so picturesque and what you think of when thinking New England summers. I finally had a chance to relax and this dress is just what got me in the mood. The ease of this maxi put me in the summer mindset and I loved how it just flowed with the wind. Also it doesn’t hurt that it is just a gorgeous dress!.
