Wearing: Forever 21 Trench | Nordstrom Silk Tank | Free People Cut Offs | Zara Heels | Chanel Bag
Trenches have always been a staple in fashion but this season the trends are steering away from the traditional beige route and into pastel colors. I’m normally not one for pastels or baby blue as they can be too girlie for my style but I love this trench so much! The oversized look makes it more relaxed as well as pairing it with denim cutoff and a basic black top. Also can we please note the gorgeous Chanel Bag (thank you Bag, Borrow, or Steal!) I really can’t get enough of her (yes it’s a her) beauty!
Are you more the traditional trench or would you try the colored trend?.
Wearing: Topshop Skirt | Black Tee | Sole Society Sunglasses | Seychelles Block Heels
Rooftops and NYC go hand and hand and no better way to see the city views and hang during the summer. Summer days are hot and humid and this Topshop skirt is perfect for a daytime look. The a-line silhouette along with the stripes and zip up give it a 70s vibe with a fresh take. I paired with a basic black teen so there isn’t too much going on. The Seychelles block heels are perfect to add to the 70s feel without looking costume-y. Not only is the skirt perfect for summer, it has a great texture to it that can take it into fall, I would pair with a turtleneck or checks sweater. I love a good transitional piece!.
White… always clean, chic, put together looking! I love this monochromatic outfit, the whites differ in shades and the pieces all have different fabrics which I think gives the outfit more texture. If you have been in NYC you know how HOT it’s been, 90 plus degrees plus the humidity makes it almost unbearable to be outside. This outfit allowed me to be comfortable (as much as one could be in this weather) and look put together at the same time. The culotte shorts are a long length so office appropriate and the vest adds a touch of “fashion” and cover up the shoulders at the same time. Of course I’m a sucker for Black & White so I paired it with my AMAZING new Christian Paul Watch, Zara Heels, and Chanel Bag (by Bag, Borrowed, or Steal)..
This denim jumper from ASOS is everything! The light wash denim and frayed ends are perfect for a playful, summer look. The boxy fit makes it more contemporary and a little more upscale. I paired it with clean white sneakers from Topshop to complete the full laid-back look..
